I encourage you to go back and watch how protection isĭesigned for not just his application but just about any thing you want to

This is a problem for not just all nanoVNA's but as the video explainsĪll electronics. I tried another set of standards, but same result. It says it is complete, but swr is a mess with the 50 ohm load attached. Hi i have a SAA-2N that will not calibrate. Sent from my iPad, complete with speeling mistakes If they are ok, when you get the vna calibration sorted, consider installing an esd protection diode across each port, and/or consider measuring only on a damp, windless day, or at least short out the aerial immediately before connecting to the vna. They are quite difficult to replace, I am told. There have been numerous previous posts here about this and replacing the input switching chips which get damaged. If so, and you have previously connected it to an aerial, it may have been damaged by a static discharge from the aerial. I assume your device has calibrated ok in the past.
